Price and Payment for Support Services
The price of NDIS supports is as set out in the NDIS Price Guide. The price of fee-for-service supports is the same as the price for the equivalent support service in the NDIS Price Guide. If the price for any NDIS support as set out in the NDIS Price Guide is increased, Carers That Drive is entitled to charge that increased price from the effective date of the new price guide.
Per the NDIS Price Guide Carers That Drive will claim payment for allowable and provided non-face-to-face supports and centre capital costs, either as a component of the quoted support, or as a separate item.
If the Participant’s funding is managed by a plan nominee or a plan management provider, the Participant must provide relevant contact details to Carers That Drive before support services can commence and advise Carers That Drive immediately of any changes to the Participant’s funding arrangements.
The Participant is responsible for ensuring that sufficient funds are available for the support services and all invoices are paid in a timely manner.
If invoices are not paid in a timely manner, Carers That Drive may seek payment directly from the Participant or review the support services. If any NDIS supports are paid directly to the Participant, they will be treated in the same way as self-managed supports. For example, if the Participant receives NDIS funding for transport directly into the Participant’s bank account, Carers That Drive will invoice the Participant for the quoted transport services.
The Participant must ensure that all invoices are paid within 14 days after the date of invoice. Carers That Drive may require the Participant to enter into a direct debit agreement before continuing to provide support services.
Establishment Fee for Community Access
Carers That Drive is entitled to charge an establishment fee for community access, which is a fee that applies to all new NDIS participants in their first plan where they receive at least 20 hours of community access support per month. This payment is to cover non-ongoing costs for providers establishing arrangements and assisting participants in implementing their plan. Carers that Drive is entitled to draw against this budget as follows:
(a) if the Participant is new to the NDIS and new to Carers That Drive, Carers That Drive can charge the current NDIS price guide establishment fee against the Participant’s plan;
(b) if the Participant chooses to change providers, the Participant’s new provider can charge in accordance with the current NDIS price guide.
Goods and Services Tax
All prices for NDIS supports are inclusive of GST if applicable. All prices for fee-for-service supports are inclusive of GST.
For the purposes of GST legislation, the parties confirm that:
(a) the Participant has a NDIS plan in effect;
(b) the supply of supports by Carers That Drive under this Agreement is a supply of reasonable and necessary supports that are specified in the statement of supports in the Participant’s NDIS plan;
(c) this Agreement constitutes a written agreement between Carers That Drive and the Participant; and
(d) the supply of supports pursuant to this Agreement is covered by one of the tables in the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) (GST free Supply – National Disability Insurance Scheme Supports) Determination 2021.
The Participant agrees to immediately notify Carers That Drive if the Participant’s NDIS plan is replaced by a new plan or the Participant ceases to be a party to an NDIS plan.
